LUZON ORGANIC is red wine produced with grapes grown from organic agriculture under strict organic regulations established in European Union. There is no room for chemical products, synthetic pesticides, weed-killers, etc., in our daily work. Instead we use environmental friendly organic practices and products that, apart from the fact that they do not harm people’s health, improve the taste of the grapes! The harvest took place during the third week of September 2006 and the grapes were handpicked. Maceration lasted 15 days with the temperature being maintained below 28ºC and the wine was macerated in contact with the skins before being deposited in stainless steel tanks where the malolactic fermentation took place. |
